RLC CONNECT ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER – TUESDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2024
The RLC Connect Annual Awards Dinner was held at the Officers’ Mess Worthy Down Camp on Tuesday 26 November 2024. The 8 Award winners represent a broad spectrum of the complex logistics arena that we all work within, from individuals who have excelled in a specific discipline to group awards that have enhanced operational capability and offered wider awareness of our environmental challenges. We also recognised 6 Conductors Coin winners as nominated by their Heads of Trade.
Maj Gen Angus Fay, Chairman RLC Connect gave the Welcoming Address and Maj Gen Jo Chestnutt, Master General of Logistics and our President, gave the Closing Address.
Turnout for the Awards Dinner exceeded expectations; we had 147 military and industry attendees.
Award Winners are as follows:
Award 1 – The RLC Connect Mentoring Support Award sponsored by Lockheed Martin was presented by Mr Chris Harriison and presented to LCpl Adrain Smart, 7 Regt RLC.Award 2 – The RLC Connect Industry Professional Development Award was sponsored by Leidos and was presented by Maj Gen (Retd) Simon Hutchings OBE to DHL Supply Chain collected by Maj (Retd) Nick Davis.Award 3 – The RLC Connect Regional Partnership Award sponsored by Kuehne & Nagel, presented by Ms Elizabeth Satinet and collected by I.G.
