Logistic Leaders Network (LLN) Supply Chain Presentations and Luncheon.
The 15th Anniversary Logistics Leaders Network Annual Lunch will take place at Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Grace Road Ground in Leicester on 26th March commencing at 10.30 am with networking and coffee and finishing around 3.30pm.
This year, it’s the 40th Anniversary of Bob Geldof’s ‘Band Aid’ project (See attached newspaper article) to provide support to the famine victims in Ethiopia. Therefore, for the first meeting of 2025 the theme of the Logistics Leaders Network 15th Anniversary Annual Lunch will be Humanitarian Logistics. Forty years on, there is an even sharper focus on humanitarian issues with more conflicts around the world, and natural disasters displacing huge numbers of people. A massive ongoing humanitarian logistics challenge. The Humanitarian Logistics Association will give an overview of how the problem is being addressed, professionally. While Save The Children International will provide a case study on its humanitarian work in Africa, and the NHS/ICMDA will present their ongoing collaboration in helping the health sector provide key services in a war zone in Ukraine.
